Privacy Policy
Intelli-Life is a household organiser. By its nature it holds some of the most personal information a family has: calendars, meals, finances, health records and the day-to-day details of your home. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the commitments we make in return. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
The short version: your family's data belongs to your family. We do not sell it, we do not show you ads, we do not use it to train AI models, and vault contents are encrypted so that even our AI assistant cannot read them.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: the name, email address and password (stored hashed) of adult account holders, and the names, optional dates of birth and sign-in PINs (stored hashed) of household members added by an adult administrator.
- Household content you add: calendar events, tasks and chores, meal plans and recipes, shopping and pantry lists, bills and budgets, vehicles, pets, school and activity details, documents, photos and notes.
- Health information: if you choose to record it, medications, vaccinations and appointments for household members. This is sensitive information under Australian law and we treat it that way: it is visible only to household members you authorise, and children's accounts cannot see it by default.
- Vault contents: passwords, codes and documents you place in the vault are encrypted at rest with a key specific to your deployment. Vault contents are excluded from AI processing entirely and are never readable by our staff.
- Connected services: if you connect a calendar or mailbox (Google or Microsoft), we store encrypted tokens and the content needed to provide the feature, such as calendar events or bills identified in emails you direct us to scan. Anything the email scanner finds is presented to you for review before it is applied.
- Assistant conversations: messages you exchange with the assistant are stored to maintain context, and are visible in your household's history.
- Usage data: device type, browser, IP address and feature usage, used for security and to improve the service.
2. Children in the household
Intelli-Life is built for families and children are expected users. The protections work like this:
- Children's accounts are created and controlled by an adult household administrator, usually a parent or guardian. Children cannot create accounts themselves.
- Children sign in with a PIN, see an age-appropriate view (chores, rewards, their calendar), and by default cannot access finances, health records, documents or the vault. Administrators control per-member access.
- We never market to children, and we collect no more information about a child than the administrator chooses to enter.
- Administrators can view, correct or delete a child's information at any time.
3. How we use information
To provide the service: keeping the household calendar, drafting meal plans, maintaining lists, sending the reminders you configure, and powering the assistant. Also to authenticate you, secure the service, understand aggregate feature usage, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not serve advertising.
4. AI processing
The assistant and the background agents send relevant household content (for example, your question and the calendar entries needed to answer it) to AI providers, currently OpenRouter, OpenAI and Google, to generate responses. Your name and email address are not included. These providers may process prompts outside Australia.
We do not use your data to train AI models, and our provider agreements prohibit them from doing so. Vault contents are never sent to any AI provider.
5. Where your data lives
Intelli-Life is hosted on Google Cloud in Australia (australia-southeast1, Sydney). AI providers may process individual prompts in the United States as described above.
6. Sharing
We share personal information only:
- within your household, according to the per-member permissions your administrator sets;
- with the AI and infrastructure providers described above, to operate the service;
- with third-party services you explicitly connect, as directed by you;
- when required by law or court order.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your household account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days except where the law requires retention. Disconnecting an integration deletes its tokens immediately. Assistant conversation history is retained until you delete it.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Vault contents carry an additional layer of encryption. Access is protected by hashed credentials, login throttling and per-member permissions. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users and the regulator of any eligible data breach as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
9. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information, withdraw consent, and disconnect integrations at any time, either in Settings or by emailing privacy@intelliinfra.ai. If you believe we have mishandled your information you may complain to us, and to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
10. Changes and contact
We will give reasonable notice of material changes to this policy. Questions: privacy@intelliinfra.ai.
